Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

For measurably better recovery – oxygen under increased pressure reaches tissue that would otherwise remain undersupplied.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for Measurably Better Recovery

HBOT increases the oxygen pressure in the body, activates cellular repair mechanisms and supports mitochondrial function – for more energy, clarity and long-term health.

We benefit here from the collaboration and expertise of Dr. Katrin Dreissigacker, a renowned plastic surgeon, and Daniela Schenker, the two founders of EpigenEdit.

Oxygen as a Precisely Controlled Stimulus for Your Cells

HBOT addresses cellular decline at its source: increased ambient pressure doesn't just bind oxygen to red blood cells, but dissolves it deep into the blood plasma – reaching tissue that would otherwise remain undersupplied.

Physiological Effect

With consistent use and structured protocols, this oxygen-rich environment can:

  • activate the body's natural cellular repair mechanisms
  • support the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis)
  • improve mitochondrial function and energy production

Ageing at the Cellular Level

Over the years, the body loses some of its ability to use oxygen efficiently. The result: declining energy, slower recovery, reduced mental clarity and accelerated ageing processes. HBOT addresses exactly this – at the level of cell function.

What a Typical HBOT Session Looks Like

Ideally, plan for 2–3 sessions per week. A treatment usually lasts 60–90 minutes – as a quiet time-out or productive focus time.

Before Your Session

  • Bring something to occupy yourself: a book, a playlist, a laptop, notes.
  • Medical check-up & review of contraindications.
  • Wear comfortable, loose clothing.

Many clients experience the time in the chamber as a deliberate pause from everyday life.

In the Chamber & Afterwards

  • Relax, read, listen to music or work – whatever you need.
  • Pressure builds to 1.3–1.5 ATA, with controlled oxygen delivery.
  • Important: drink enough fluids after the session to support your metabolism optimally.

Important note. The content on this page is for general information only and does not replace individual medical advice or diagnosis. Please check with your doctor beforehand whether HBOT is suitable for you – especially if you have any condition affecting the lungs, ears or sinuses.
